ABOUT
Gregory Pierce
BACKGROUND & EXPERIENCE
Gregory Pierce did not come to this race through politics. He came to it through work, family, and responsibility.
He is a business owner with a background in private security and public safety operations. His work has required clear planning, strong communication, and decisions where the consequences are real. That experience shaped his view of leadership: be prepared, be accountable, and focus on solving problems rather than talking around them.
Gregory and his wife are raising their family in rural Maine. Like many families across Penobscot and Piscataquis Counties, they understand what it means to live far from services, rely on volunteer responders, and depend on local people when help is needed. When response times are slow or decisions are made without local input, the impact is personal, not theoretical.
Gregory believes public office is a form of service, not a title. He is running to bring practical judgment, respect for local communities, and steady leadership to the Maine State Senate.
PRIORITIES & VISION
Gregory Pierce’s priorities come from living and working in rural Maine, not from politics.
Public safety comes first because it affects everything else. In much of District 4, help isn’t just minutes away — it can be a long wait. Volunteer firefighters, EMTs, and law enforcement do the best they can with limited resources. Gregory believes the state needs to take that reality seriously and support communities so when someone calls for help, someone can actually get there.
He believes decisions work best when they’re made locally. Towns and counties know their needs better than Augusta does. Gregory supports reducing one-size-fits-all mandates and giving communities the flexibility to make decisions that fit their people, geography, and budgets.
Gregory also believes government should respect the people paying the bills. Families are already stretched by rising costs, and taxpayers deserve a state government that spends carefully, focuses on core responsibilities, and expects results for the money it takes in.
At its core, Gregory’s vision is simple: show up, listen, and make decisions that reflect real life in Maine. He’s running to represent his neighbors honestly and bring steady, practical leadership to the State Senate.

MISSION & VALUES
Leadership with Accountability
Gregory Pierce believes leadership starts with accountability. That means showing up, telling the truth, and owning the outcomes of the decisions you make.
For Gregory, accountability is personal. He and his family live in District 4. The laws passed, the budgets approved, and the priorities set in Augusta do not affect strangers somewhere else—they affect his own household, his neighbors, and the communities his children are growing up in. That reality shapes how he views public service.
His mission is simple: represent the people of District 4 honestly and make decisions based on real conditions on the ground, not pressure from party leadership or outside interests. Leadership, in Gregory’s view, is not about speeches or status—it’s about responsibility.
Accountability also means listening to constituents, being clear about priorities, and being willing to explain decisions, even when they are difficult. It means respecting taxpayers by spending carefully and focusing government on core responsibilities.
Gregory values service over self-promotion, local knowledge over distant mandates, and steady judgment over political theater. He is committed to leading with integrity and remaining accountable to the people—and the community—he calls home.
